I'm in the process of gathering funds for this very project at my school! Nicely done!

Gretchen Cole, a good friend of mine, directed me to your site and I am hooked. My children go to a Charter school here in Aspen, Aspen Community School, and I am constantly amazed by their ability to bring the children back to nature. Great to find you, http://isdisnormal.com

i've just (as in, two days ago!) started a new job designing an entirely new program at a local university. i've been terrified for weeks. 'what if i don't get along with my colleagues? what if my superior won't allow the budget i need? why on earth do i have to wait for the computer i want? what if i let the school down? what if i can't deliver on what i promised in my interview (and, let's be honest, i promised a hell of a lot!).' and then, i watched your videos. thankyou. in all of what made me anxious i forgot something vital: i love to teach students. i love to be taught by my students. i love being part of that whole collaborative quest. it's a great, new adventure we're all about to take- *my* students and i, and i can't wait! (though, i know i'll still panic from time to time, so i'm bookmarking your site) thankyou mr. mali, for reminding me what it's really all about.

What a fantastic idea. It is so true that we all, students and teachers alike, have a hard time concentrating when the weather gets nice. The outdoor classroom is more than just a useful tool, it's an innovative idea.

Taylor that's awesome. Teaching outside is a dream of mine too! I do agree there are distractions that high school students just can't resist but I think there's something to be said about harnessing those distractions and working them into your lesson plan. But hey a lectern works too. Kicking your troublemakers out of class becomes a tricky situation though...
