Hi Mr Mali, how 'like' are you? Oh I'm sorry, (haha) this will be a 'like' free zone! This is an unbelievable long shot, maybe even longer than the distance from Earth to the nearest star... but a very dear friend of mine, Branko Goykovic, is a teacher of Technology & support (A-Hah!)-(although in Sydney, Australia - too far away? - Not as far away as Earth to the nearest star!)..:-) Mr Mali, Branko truely relates so well to all of your writings about teachers and teaching, your dedication to teaching with integrity, to your belief in the Miracle of education, and of making a difference! He is so proud to show people your spoken word poetry and he becomes very emotional when watching these as it is his sheer delight that someone else out there actually 'gets it!' - As Branko would say (well actually sing) right now "You've got to know - to understand". Branko teaches his students with so much love, care, integrity and sincerity (masked with an extremely wicked sense of humour - hehe). Whenever I am with him, he constantly runs into ex-students who are so happy to see him, and he is so proud to tell me all about every one of them as they walk away with the biggest smile on their faces (as he comically yells some kind of random play-on-word comment to them). You can check him out on Facebook (he is the 'Branko Goykovic' with the plaits under his hat standing on a stage in a pose that looks like a crucifix.. though isn't...)where you will notice that he has recently posted one of his favourites of your writings which is 'Miracle Workers'... If he doesn't possess the requisite technological skills (or time - being a teacher!) to be your "Dream Intern", or the distance is so great that we may as well be the nearest star to your Earth, if I could be so bold as to possibly ask you a very simple, yet immensely meaningful favour? If you were to just shoot him an email (goykie@gmail.com) to say "Happy Birthday" on Saturday 6 December (well, that would be on Friday 5 December for you), Oh, I can tell you that you will make one 'Miracle Worker' in the world a truely, amazingly happy man...! Oh, if I may also be so bold as to truley thank you sincerely and profusely in anticipation of this action occurring, I will be eternally grateful to you, and I know that you both will be touched and further inspired to continue your 'Miracle making' knowing that there are at least two true "Miracle Makers" out there just doing 'what you do', and so much more, and making a difference to the lives of so many. :-) x

Hey, I am a college student headed for a future as a Creative Writing High School Teacher. Last night I was in Philosophy class and we were talking about conviction. I told a story to my teacher and my class mate (yes only one) about how my aunt (I guess I claim her) came to visit and asked me what I was going to school for. When I told her I was going to become a teacher she tore me to peices making fun of what teachers make ($) and calling me an idealistic idiot (And many more things). All I could say to her is that when I was in the 10th grade I met a teacher who really and truely cared about what he taught and the students and that he touched my life and showed me what it meant to be a teacher and that if I help one person with what I do my entire life is worth it! Well after hearing this my professor Mr. Maloney took me and my class mate to his office and showed us you video on youtude "What teahers Make" and I cried. I've since listened to all of the videos you've made that I can find and you are an awesome man. I want to say thank you for "What teachers make" because it was definitely beautiful!

I'd really love to do it. I'm a myspace/facebook addict..unfortunately! However, I don't feel that I have the "web 2.0 kung fu" skills required for a wiki..but Mr. Mali (or Taylor) whichever you prefer, It would be an incredible honor to help you out! I'm a junior at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland (go figure) and am majoring in elementary education. In regards as to how much I know your work..well lets just say that I can probably recite most of your poetry! I think you are an incredibly talented man who has a passion for teaching that I hope to aspire to one day (if I don't have it already). So, if I can help without the "kung fu" skills, let me know!
